Urine waiting for urination

Many male friends will encounter the symptom of difficulty urinating in life, which is mainly caused by holding urine frequently. It is recommended that everyone should correct their bad habits. Difficulty in urination may also be a sign of disease, such as urethral stones and neurogenic cystitis. You should check the cause of the disease before undergoing surgical treatment, and pay attention to sexual moderation in daily life.

What causes urination difficulties?

A normal person urinates 1000 to 2000 ml per day. Imagine what the consequences will be if urination is difficult and 1000 to 2000 ml of urine is retained in the body? Let us now understand the causes of difficulty in urination.

Dysuria does not mean that you are completely unable to urinate. It means that urination is not smooth and the whole process of urination is very strenuous. Difficulty urinating is usually a warning sign of certain diseases. People with mild symptoms will experience delayed urination and short urination. Severe patients will have a weak urine stream, and the urine cannot be discharged continuously in a dripping state during urination. Severe patients need to hold their breath and exert force, or press their lower abdomen with their hands so that the urine can be slowly discharged from the body. More serious cases may cause urinary retention.

The first cause of dysuria is mechanical. Dysuria is often caused by obstructive disease, which is what we call mechanical causes. This type of lesion, which usually occurs in the neck and lower part of the bladder, can cause difficulty in urination. For example, bladder neck obstruction, bladder urethral stones, urethral valves, etc.

Dynamic reasons can also cause people to have difficulty urinating. The first common reason for urination difficulties caused by dynamic factors is dysfunction of the nervous system, such as neurogenic cystitis, anesthesia of certain diseases, spinal cord malformation and injury, etc. The second reason is bladder detrusor dysfunction, common causes include diabetes, sphincter problems, etc.

What to do if you have difficulty urinating

Humans need to urinate every day to survive in this world, and under normal circumstances, urination should be smooth and powerful. If there are various obstacles when urinating, this is a phenomenon of dysuria. This also indicates that there is something wrong with our body, so what should we do if we have difficulty urinating?

Once difficulty urinating occurs, the patient should seek medical attention immediately and find out the cause of the difficulty urinating as soon as possible. Otherwise, the consequences of leaving it unchecked may be more than just difficulty urinating. There are many ways to treat dysuria. It can be treated conservatively through traditional Chinese medicine, and severe patients can also have a urinary catheter inserted. During the treatment process, there are many small ways to help patients relieve urination difficulties.

1. Conditioned reflex method. Have you ever felt the urge to urinate after hearing the sound of running water? In fact, this is the effect of the urination center stimulated by the sound of running water. If you have difficulty urinating, you can turn on the faucet at home, or use a cup to pour water repeatedly. The sound of running water can alleviate the difficulty in urination to a certain extent.

2. Apply local hot compress. Fry 500 grams of coarse salt, wrap it in a cloth, and place it on your lower abdomen as a hot compress to aid urination. The coarse salt can be reused.

3. Blow your nose to induce sneezing. This method is to blow soap powder into the patient's nasal cavity, causing the patient to sneeze continuously and induce urination.
