Appropriate changes in your eating habits or doing some eye massage exercises can correct myopia. For example, walking in open places more often, or doing crystal gymnastics and eye washing techniques are all very beneficial. Recommended methods for daily treatment of myopia 1. Gaze into the distance: Find a meadow or green tree 10 meters away: Due to the shorter wavelength of green, the image is formed in front of the retina, which helps the eyes to relax and the ciliary muscles to reduce eye fatigue. Don't squint or blink too often. Clear your mind, concentrate, and stare intently for 25 seconds to identify the outline of grass or leaves. Then place your left palm slightly higher than your eyes and about 30 cm in front of your eyes, and look at the palm lines one by one from beginning to end, for about 5 seconds. After looking at the palm lines, stare at the grass or leaves in the distance for 25 seconds, and then look at the palm lines again. Repeat 20 times in 10 minutes, three times a day. Crystal gymnastics: Eye rotation: Hold your chin with both hands and rotate your eyeballs up, down, left, and right 10 times, then rotate counterclockwise and clockwise 10 times each. Press the temple and scrape the eye sockets: press the temple with your thumb (one horizontal finger back from the middle of the eyebrow and the outer corner of the eye), and then use the inner side of the second section of the bent index finger to lightly scrape the eye socket in a circle, from upper inside -> upper outside -> lower outside -> lower inside, so that the acupoints around the eye socket such as Zanzhu Yuyao, Sizhukong, Tongziliao, Qiuhou, Chengqi, etc. It is beneficial for pseudomyopia or preventing the worsening of myopia. 4. Eye-rolling method Choose a quiet place, sit or stand, relax your whole body, clear your mind, open your eyes, keep your head and neck still, and only move your eyeballs. First, look directly below, then slowly turn to the left, then to the top, to the right, and finally back to the bottom. In this way, turn clockwise 9 times. Then let your eyes move from gazing downwards, to the right, to the top, to the left, and then back downwards, and do this six times in a counterclockwise direction. Do this 4 times in total. With each movement, the eye should move as far as possible. This eye-rolling method can exercise the eye muscles, improve nutrition, and make the eyes flexible and bright. 5. Eye Breathing and Concentration Method Choose a place with fresh air, sit or stand, relax your whole body, look straight ahead, slowly inhale enough air, open your eyes wide, pause for a moment, then slowly exhale, slowly close your eyes, do this 9 times in a row. 6. Ironing eye method It is best to do this method while sitting down, relax your whole body, close your eyes, then quickly rub your palms together to generate heat. Cover your eyes with both hands while they are still hot. After the heat dissipates, suddenly remove your hands and open your eyes at the same time. Do this 3 to 5 times. This can promote blood circulation in the eyes and enhance metabolism. 7. Eyewash method First disinfect the basin, pour in warm water, adjust the water temperature, put your face in the water, open your eyes in the water, move your eyeballs up and down, left and right 9 times each, and then rotate clockwise and counterclockwise 9 times. At first, when water enters the eyes, the eyes will feel extremely uncomfortable, but as the eyeballs move, the eyes will slowly feel very comfortable. If you feel difficulty breathing while doing this exercise, you may lift your face out of the basin and take a deep breath outside. This method can wash away harmful substances and dust in the eyes.
