How to relieve tooth pain immediately

It should be said that unlike common colds and fevers, the pain from a tooth cavity can be described in just one word: pain. It hurts no matter what you eat, and in severe cases, you will even feel pain when you see food. When a life-threatening toothache occurs, the only thing on our mind is how to relieve the pain quickly and effectively. What are some ways to relieve pain immediately after a tooth cavity hurts?

I had a toothache at night, so I looked up some information online. It is learned that ginger slices can effectively relieve toothache. Ginger can relieve toothache because it contains ingredients such as gingerol, shogaol, citral and capsaicin, which have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and bactericidal effects.

When you have a toothache, just cut a small piece of ginger and bite it on the painful area to relieve the pain. It is reusable and can be left in your mouth while you sleep at night.

In fact, garlic leaves can treat toothache. There are roughly three ways to use garlic to treat toothache. I will give a simple introduction below. Method 1: When you have a toothache, break the tip of the garlic clove to let the garlic juice overflow, and rub it on the painful area several times to relieve the pain. Method 2: Mash the garlic and apply a small amount on the Hegu acupoints on both hands. It has a good analgesic effect on allergic toothache. Method three: Peel the garlic and cook it on the stove. Cut it while it is still hot and use it to iron the painful tooth. Replace the garlic after it cools down. Repeat this process several times. When people with caries have toothache, they can pick out the contents of the cavity and stuff some mashed garlic into it to relieve pain and prevent decay.

Then, Sichuan pepper can also play a certain role in treating toothache. The usage is as I introduce below. Method 1: Put 1-2 peppercorns into the affected area and bite them hard. The toothache will stop after half a minute. Method 2: Take 5-10 grams of dried Sichuan peppercorns, put them in a small stainless steel pot, add appropriate amount of purified water, put it on the fire and bring to a boil, then cook for 3-5 minutes. After it cools down, add 50 grams of white wine (Erguotou is fine). After it cools down, filter the Sichuan pepper water, pour it into a small glass bottle, and when you have a toothache, dip cotton in this water and plug it into the painful area and bite down on it. It will be more effective if you put it into a tooth cavity.

Anti-inflammatory method. Normally, toothache is caused by inflammation of oral hygiene, especially cavities and the kind with holes. The anti-inflammatory method is to use salt water, which can relieve pain. The second method to relieve toothache and inflammation is to fill the cavities with toothpaste. The toothpaste should be mint-flavored. The third method to reduce toothache and inflammation is to take anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing drugs, which can be bought at ordinary pharmacies. If possible, you can also buy a bottle of anti-inflammatory water specifically for relieving toothache.

The above are methods to reduce inflammation. If your condition is not serious, you can just wait for recovery. The fourth method is very special and it is also my favorite method, which is to find something you like to do to distract yourself, and then unknowingly you won’t feel so much pain. Finally, you can also use vinegar. I usually let my mother rinse her mouth with vinegar. You can also try it.
