However, mandibular wisdom teeth are more difficult to extract because there is the ascending ramus of the mandible behind them, the bone density is high, and they are impacted.

Things to note after tooth extraction:

The first is the gauze on the wound after tooth extraction. You have to bite it for half an hour before spitting it out. Don’t bite it for too long. Pay attention to the condition of the wound after tooth extraction. If there is excessive bleeding, go to the hospital for examination in time.

The second is not to eat or drink water within 2 hours. Eat soft food, liquid or semi-liquid food on the same day. Warm or cold food is preferred, and you can chew with the other side.

Third, do not rinse your mouth, brush your teeth, or spit excessively within 24 hours after tooth extraction to prevent bleeding or infection. Do not repeatedly suck and spit out blood clots due to the bloody taste in your mouth, which may cause the wound to not heal.

Fourth, after tooth extraction, you can rest in a semi-recumbent position. Do not lie down too early or take a hot bath immediately to avoid bleeding from the wound. After tooth extraction, try to exercise and talk less. , don't smoke, drink, or eat spicy food.

Fifth, you can use ice packs within 48 hours after tooth extraction to reduce local swelling. If necessary, you can take oral analgesics under the guidance of a doctor to relieve local pain.
