Arisaema consanguineum can reduce heat, relieve cough, resolve phlegm, and calm epilepsy. It is used to treat stroke, phlegm, epilepsy, cough with phlegm and fire, and dizziness caused by headache. For treating wind-cold, wind-heat and toxic congestion in children, stagnation of the diaphragm, cooling the heart and calming the nerves: 50g of Starch Starch, 10 pieces of gold and silver foil, 7.5g of Cinnabar, one character each of borneol and Sanguisorba officinalis. Grind them together into a very fine powder, add refined honey and make into pills as big as a chicken head. Take one pill each time, dissolve it in bamboo leaf water. After the bile is completely digested and absorbed, and dried in the sun, put it into a mortar and beat it. Cut it into small pieces and expose it to wind, sun and dew at night until there is no fishy smell. One method is to take 1 jin of arisaema powder, add 1 jin of ox bile, stir, dry in the sun and wind, boil, and cut into small pieces. In the second year, add another pound of ox bile, stir, expose to the sun and dry. In the third year, add 500 grams of ox bile, stir, and expose to the sun to dry. The color gradually turns black and the fishy smell gradually fades away. |
