Everyone should be familiar with superficial antral gastritis. It is a common gastritis disease in clinical practice, mainly caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. At present, superficial antral gastritis is the most common gastritis systemic disease in my country. In recent years, the incidence of superficial antral gastritis in some cities in my country has shown a steady upward trend. The incidence rate of gastritis in major domestic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, etc. has ranked first. So what causes superficial antral gastritis? How can we treat it? As we mentioned before, superficial antral gastritis is mainly caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. Therefore, when treating it, we must start from the cause in order to achieve the goal of curing the disease. In addition, time is also the key to the treatment of superficial antral gastritis. It is best for patients to go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible when superficial antral gastritis occurs to avoid further deterioration of the disease and affect the treatment effect. About Helicobacter pylori eradication There is no consensus on whether Helicobacter pylori should be routinely eradicated for superficial antral gastritis caused by Helicobacter pylori. The 2006 Chinese Consensus on Chronic Gastritis recommends that eradication of Helicobacter pylori is particularly suitable for: 1. Those with gastric mucosal erosion, atrophy and intestinal metaplasia; 2. Those with symptoms of indigestion; 3. Those with a family history of gastric cancer. About the treatment of indigestion symptoms Since there is no correlation between symptoms and pathological examination, symptomatic treatment is essentially empirical treatment of functional dyspepsia. Antacids or acid-suppressing drugs, gastrointestinal motility drugs, gastric mucosal protective drugs, and traditional Chinese medicine can all be tried. In addition to their symptomatic therapeutic effects, these drugs may also have certain effects on gastric mucosal epithelial repair and inflammation. Treatment of dysplasia Dysplasia is a precancerous lesion of gastric cancer and should be taken seriously. For patients with mild dysplasia, in addition to the above-mentioned active treatments, the key is regular follow-up. For confirmed severe dysplasia, preventive surgery is appropriate, and endoscopic gastric mucosal resection is currently the most commonly used surgery. In addition, patients with superficial antral gastritis also need to make some adjustments in their diet, such as avoiding eating foods that are too salty, too spicy, too sour, or too rough, to prevent food from repeatedly irritating the gastric mucosa and causing the condition to worsen. Therefore, patients with superficial antral gastritis should not only receive active treatment, but also adjust their diet. The above is an introduction to the knowledge about superficial antral gastritis. I hope it will help you understand the information about this disease. |
