Early symptoms of diabetes

Early symptoms of diabetes

As people pay less and less attention to their lifestyle, more and more people are suffering from diabetes. Both children and adults will be affected by diabetes. This disease has a lot of impact on people's normal life, so discovering the early symptoms has become a way to catch it and control it. As long as it is treated in the early stages it is relatively easy to control. Now let the experts introduce to you what are the early symptoms of diabetes?

Although the symptoms of diabetes are not particularly obvious in the early stages, you can still find some clues if you observe carefully. Diabetes also tends to affect obese people, so if your weight is not within the normal range, it is recommended that you test your blood sugar index, which can also rule out whether you have diabetes.

(1) Polydipsia, polyuria, polyphagia, and weight loss

In severe hyperglycemia, typical symptoms of "three mores and one less" appear. This disease often occurs in children or adolescents, which is the first characteristic. In addition to children, type 1 diabetes can actually occur at all ages throughout life, especially during menopause. The second characteristic of type 1 diabetes is that the onset is generally rapid, with obvious symptoms such as thirst, polydipsia, polyuria, polyphagia, fatigue, emaciation, and rapid weight loss. Some patients have ketoacidosis at the first onset.

(2) Fatigue, obesity

Some diabetic patients suffer from insulin resistance, and most of them are obese. Due to insulin resistance, insulin sensitivity decreases, and blood insulin increases to compensate for their insulin resistance. However, compared with the patients' high blood sugar, insulin secretion is still relatively insufficient. The early symptoms of this type of patients are not obvious, with only mild fatigue and thirst. Macrovascular and microvascular complications often occur before a clear diagnosis is made.

The above is the expert’s introduction to the early symptoms of diabetes. I hope that everyone will go to the hospital for timely treatment when they find the above symptoms, so as to effectively control the continued deterioration of diabetes.
