The five senses of the human body are closely related to the internal organs. For example, the nose is used for breathing, which corresponds to the lungs; the mouth is used for eating, and people with a good spleen will have an appetite, so the mouth and the spleen correspond to each other; the ears are used for hearing, and they are nourished by kidney essence, so the ears and the kidneys correspond to each other. The chin also corresponds to the internal organs of the human body. Here we will introduce which part of the body the chin corresponds to. The chin is the reflex area of the stomach. Acne on the chin indicates problems with the stomach meridian and the Ren meridian, which are mainly caused by stomach fire and abnormal metabolism of dampness and heat. The reflex area can indeed predict health problems of the corresponding internal organs, so it is recommended to regulate the stomach. The functions of the five senses are closely related to the internal organs. The nose is a respiratory passage with ventilation function, and the lungs are responsible for breathing, so the nose is called the orifice of the lungs. The nose also has the function of smell. Whether the nasal ventilation and olfactory function are normal or not is related to the lung function. If the lung qi is harmonious and beneficial, the breathing will be smooth and the sense of smell will be sensitive; if the lung qi is not favorable, there will be nasal congestion, runny nose and loss of smell. The function of eyes is vision. The liver opens up to the eyes and stores blood. The liver receives blood and is able to see. If the liver functions normally, the eyes will be bright. If the liver is not smooth and the liver blood is insufficient, the eyes will be dry and the vision will be reduced. Traditional Chinese medicine also believes that physical fitness is directly related to the normal functions of the internal organs. When the vital energy of the five internal organs is full, the visual function is normal. If the vital energy of the five internal organs is insufficient, the normal physiological function of the eyes will be affected. The mouth is the entrance to the digestive tract. The spleen opens up in the mouth. The spleen is responsible for transportation and transformation. If the spleen functions well and the appetite is good, the mouth will be healthy. If the spleen fails to function well and generates dampness and heat, ulcers will appear on the lips or bad breath will occur. The ear is the organ of hearing, and the kidney stores essence and opens up to the ear. The hearing function of the ear depends on the nourishment of kidney essence. If the kidney essence is abundant and the marrow sea is nourished, the hearing will be sensitive; if the kidney essence is insufficient and the marrow sea is not nourished, the ears will become deaf, the movements will be slow, giving people a feeling of premature aging. |
