The symptoms of seafood allergy are quite obvious. This type of disease is an allergic disease. Once it occurs, the disease can be acute or chronic. Acute seafood allergies may occur, and even illness may occur. If you are undergoing treatment at this time, you must pay strict attention to your diet and avoid eating spicy foods, seafood, etc.

People with chronic seafood allergies may experience worsening symptoms after eating certain foods. Foods that are likely to cause allergies include: seafood, peppers, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, wine, mangoes, strawberries, coriander, etc. Patients with chronic seafood allergies should undergo allergen desensitization treatment in a timely manner. In addition, patients should avoid scratching the affected area vigorously, avoid washing with hot water and applying external irritating drugs, and avoid eating animal protein foods and irritating seafood. Eating stale or rotten green-skinned red meat fish can cause poisoning; pickled salted fish, if the raw materials are not fresh or not pickled thoroughly, contains a lot of histamine, which can also cause poisoning after eating. People with allergies may also experience symptoms of poisoning if they consume small amounts of histamine.

The onset of poisoning is rapid, usually 0.5 to 1 hour after ingestion, sometimes as little as 5 minutes, and sometimes as long as 4 hours. When the disease occurs, the symptoms are mild, recovery is rapid, and death occurs occasionally. Common symptoms include flushing, dizziness, headache, palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, swelling of the face and lips, numbness of the mouth, tongue and limbs, nausea, vomiting, and itchy skin.
