Level I: <100ug/L. Relatively safe (but already fetal toxic, prone to causing miscarriage, premature birth, and intrauterine growth retardation of the fetus);

Level II: 100-199ug/L. It can affect nerve conduction speed and cognitive ability, making children prone to dizziness, irritability, inattention, and hyperactivity;

Level III: 200-449ug/L. It can cause calcium deficiency, zinc deficiency, iron deficiency, growth retardation, low immunity, motor incoordination, visual and hearing impairment, slow reaction, decreased IQ, anorexia, pica, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.

Level IV: 450-699ug/L. Personality changes, irritability, aggressive behavior, learning difficulties, abdominal cramps, high blood pressure, heart rhythm disturbances, and movement disorders may occur;

Grade V: ≥700ug/L. It can cause multiple organ damage, lead encephalopathy, paralysis, coma and even death.

For children with lead poisoning below 50ug/L, prevention is the priority. Ⅱ~Ⅲ must be treated with lead-removing foods certified by the state under the guidance of a doctor to enable children with lead poisoning to recover as soon as possible. IV to V should have their blood lead levels rechecked within 48 hours. If confirmed, lead removal treatment should be given immediately, and the cause of lead infection should be investigated and intervened.
