How does acupuncture treat tenosynovitis?

Tenosynovitis is a common clinical disease that has a great impact on people's lives. There are many treatments for tenosynovitis, including both Chinese and Western medicine. Acupuncture knife treatment can be said to be a kind of surgery. It is also combined with traditional Chinese medicine theory and is effective in treating tenosynovitis.

1. Mild cases can be relieved by hot compress and rest. Some cases can be treated with local blockade, massage, or acupuncture. However, most patients did not experience relief after the above treatments. Therefore, a tenotomy was chosen and the patient was not allowed to do manual labor within one month after the operation. Some people also believe that acupuncture is the preferred treatment method for this disease. A small needle knife is used to perform closed release and incise the narrow part of the tendon sheath. About 90% of the patients can be cured with one needle knife treatment and can resume normal work after resting for 3-7 days after the operation.

2. Clinical experience has found that there is a certain degree of risk in the treatment of tenosynovitis with acupuncture knife. If the patient's symptoms are severe, surgery may be performed to open the narrow tendon sheath and release adhesions. The recovery period is long, and sometimes tendon adhesions may occur, leading to other conditions.

3. The acupuncture knife cleverly integrates the advantages of both acupuncture needles and scalpels. Depending on the different lesions, different types of needle knives and a variety of techniques are used to cut, loosen, and peel off contracted connective tissue lesions, and closed minimally invasive and gasification surgeries are performed to achieve the purpose of treatment. The micro-acupuncture combines the therapeutic features of both a scalpel and acupuncture. It can painlessly enter the diseased tissue to loosen, dredge, peel and adjust the meridians. Micro-needle knife surgery is mainly a closed release surgery for chronic soft tissue lesions. It also makes use of the comprehensive mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine meridian theory and immunology. It is a radical surgery. Pay attention to maintenance after treatment and avoid overuse to prevent recurrence.
