Viral oral herpes

Viral oral herpes

Viral oral herpes is often accompanied by fever, refusal to eat and irritability, and often occurs in children. We often induce this kind of disease when we are anxious. When we suffer from this kind of disease, we often feel ulcers in the mouth and tongue, which is very uncomfortable. When eating, I could not enjoy the delicious food as usual, but felt pain, and thus gradually lost weight. So what is viral oral herpes? How can we treat it? The following will give you a detailed introduction!

First: We must always keep our mouths clean, drink plenty of water, and eat less or even no spicy and greasy foods. Often stay in bed at home. Rinse your mouth with warm water for five minutes before and after eating. Eat more green vegetables and fresh fruits.

First: The fever may reach 38℃-40℃ at the onset of the disease. After 1-2 days, single or clustered small blisters of about 2 mm in size may appear on the gums, lips, tongue, buccal mucosa and other parts of the oral mucosa. They are surrounded by red halos. Some of them quickly break down to form ulcers covered with secretions. Ulcers of varying sizes may also be found on the soft palate, tongue and pharynx. The local pain is severe, and the child may refuse to eat, drool, become irritable, and have tenderness. The fever lasts about 3-5 days and the course of the disease is about 1-2 weeks. Local submandibular or associated lymph node enlargement, lasting for 2-3 weeks.

Second: This disease is mainly differentiated from herpangina, the pathogen of which is mostly Coxsackie virus and occurs in summer and autumn. Fever and sore throat often occur suddenly. Herpes mainly occurs in the pharynx, soft palate and tongue, but does not involve the gums and buccal mucosa, which is significantly different from herpetic stomatitis.

I hope the above materials can be helpful to you. It is summer now, and this type of disease is particularly easy to induce. It spreads very quickly, so it is best to avoid crowded places. Start prevention early, detect early, and treat early. This type of disease is prone to recurring, so even after recovery, you should always prevent viral oral herpes.
