Symptoms of asthma

What we call asthma in daily life refers to bronchial asthma, which is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways involving multiple cell nuclei and cell tissues. There are many symptoms of asthma, the most common of which are paroxysmal wheezing, chest tightness, coughing and shortness of breath. Some patients also experience chest pain. Asthma patients often suffer attacks due to strong stimulation from the surrounding environment.

It is mainly caused by exposure to pungent gases or allergens such as pollen, perfume, smoke, dust and paint. During an asthma attack, patients can hear themselves wheezing. Moreover, the attacks are more likely to occur at night and in the early morning, and the severity is more severe. This will cause many patients to have poor sleep quality and seriously affect the rest of their families.

The onset of asthma varies with the seasons. Generally, it is more likely to occur in winter and spring, and is relatively stable in summer. In daily life, there has always been a saying that winter diseases should be treated in summer. That is to say, treating diseases that occur in winter in summer will have a very good effect, and the same is true for treating asthma. Asthma symptoms usually occur in episodes and most patients can recover on their own.

Asthma is divided into acute attacks and chronic attacks. Once a severe acute attack occurs, it is very dangerous for the patient. If not treated in time, it may take the patient's life at any time. Asthma patients will be greatly affected in their daily life and work, often resulting in missed work and school, and even exercise will be greatly restricted, resulting in a significant reduction in the quality of life of patients.

Asthma is a difficult disease to treat and often requires long-term treatment, which can also bring a great financial burden. If you have asthma, you must seek treatment early. If asthma attacks recur, it will lead to complications such as emphysema, cor pulmonale, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure and respiratory failure, all of which will seriously affect the patient's life safety.
