Eczema itching relief method

Eczema itching relief method

Eczema is a more serious skin inflammation, which is often itchy and unbearable, so skin diseases should not be underestimated. The formation of eczema is extremely complex, with both internal and external causes, so we should not only pay attention to the surrounding environment, but also pay attention to our own mood adjustment, that is, daily life habits and a balanced diet. Eczema is a slow-growing disease and is extremely difficult to treat, so if you suffer from it, you must be patient and treat it.

Eczema often causes unbearable itching, so people have to try every possible means to find various methods to solve it. However, it also depends on the individual, and everyone's symptoms are different. There are both external and internal methods to treat eczema. Let's take a look at these methods below.

Prescription therapy

1. 15 grams each of Indigo, Talcum Powder, and Cypress, and 9 grams of Borneol. Grind them into fine powder, mix with sesame oil to form a paste, apply to the affected area 3 times a day. It is effective in treating acute eczema.

2. Grind 10 grams of alum, 30 grams of calamine, 6 grams of borneol, and 15 grams of Sophora flavescens into fine powder and apply it to the affected area twice a day. It is effective in treating scrotal eczema.

3. Grind 100 grams of Evodia rutaecarpa into fine powder, add Fu Qingsong ointment to make a paste, apply to the eczema area 3 times a day. Generally, the itching will stop after one use, and it can be cured in 6-15 days.

External treatment

In case of acute eczema, if erythema, papules, papulovesicles and blisters are seen in the early stage but no erosion or exudation is seen, Shizhen powder, Ermiao powder, Liuyi powder etc. can be applied externally, or Sanhuang lotion or calamine lotion can be used externally.

Western medicine

Systemic therapy:

1. Non-specific desensitization treatment: Acute or subacute eczema can be treated with 10% calcium gluconate 10ml or 10% sodium thiosulfate 10ml intravenous injection once a day; or 0.25% procaine 20ml plus vitamin C 1-2g intravenous injection once a day.

2. Glucocorticoids: their use is generally not recommended. For patients with significant and widespread inflammation in the acute phase, short-term use may be considered, such as prednisone 20-40 mg/d. After the effect is seen, the dosage may be reduced or even discontinued as appropriate.

It is not certain that these methods of treating eczema are effective. Everyone has a different physical constitution, so patients can explore on their own and find the treatment method that suits them best, which is the most effective. However, dietary adjustment is also important. Avoid eating spicy food and seafood. It is equally important to adjust your mood.
