Many elderly people develop arthritis problems with their knees when they reach a certain age due to excessive use of the knees when they were young. When the seasons change, the chance of developing the disease increases a lot, and it also brings a lot of pain to the elderly. However, it is not easy to find the root cause of rheumatoid arthritis. The current methods can only treat the symptoms first, suppress the intensity of the disease, and relieve pain. In fact, for most people, the cause of rheumatoid arthritis is still partially understood. It is mainly due to the lack of attention in various aspects of life, which gives bacteria an opportunity to take advantage and cause abnormalities in our bodies. Let’s look at the causes of rheumatoid arthritis. Bacterial factors (30%): Experimental studies have shown that group A streptococci and peptidoglycan in their bacterial walls may be a stimulus for the onset of RA. Group A streptococci exist in the body for a long time and become a persistent antigen, stimulating the body to produce antibodies, causing immune pathological damage and causing disease. Bacteria or bacterial antigens have never been found in the joint fluid and synovial tissue of RA patients, suggesting that bacteria may be related to the onset of RA, but direct evidence is lacking. Viral factors (25%): Studies have shown that arthritis caused by EB virus infection is different from RA. There are persistently high levels of anti-EB virus-membrane antigen antibodies in the serum and synovial fluid of RA patients, but so far no EB virus nuclear antigen has been found in the serum of RA patients. Genetic factors (20%) In population surveys, human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DR4 was found to be associated with RF-positive patients. HLA studies have found that DW4 is associated with the onset of RA. 70% of patients are HLA-DW4 positive and have a susceptibility gene for this point. Therefore, genetics may play an important role in the onset of the disease. Sex hormones (20%) In addition to the above, rheumatoid arthritis can also be caused by cold, dampness, fatigue, malnutrition, trauma and other inducing factors, but there is often no obvious cause to be found. Therefore, at a certain stage we need to take better care of our bodies. It would be best if we are free of illness and pain. If you are sick, you must seek treatment immediately. |
