(4) Kudzu and black bean porridge

10 grams of Pueraria root, 10 grams of light black beans, 3 stalks of green onion (washed), 10 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, and 50 grams of polished rice.

Put Pueraria root, fermented black beans and Ophiopogon japonicus into a casserole, add 500 ml of water, boil on the fire for about 5 to 10 minutes, filter out the residue, add polished rice into the juice, and cook together into porridge. Cut the scallion into short sections, add it into the porridge when it is almost done, stir and drink it while warm.

The kudzu root, fermented black beans, and scallion in this porridge can dispel exterior pathogens, while the ophiopogon and polished rice can nourish yin and harmonize the stomach.
