Estrogen plays an important role in the health of women's bodies, but in many cases, such as perimenopausal syndrome caused by natural or postoperative menopause, it is caused by problems with hormones in the body. At this time, medication is usually required for treatment, and progesterone estradiol tablets are a typical one. So, how to use progesterone estradiol tablets? Let’s take a closer look below.

Take 1 tablet orally daily, one course of treatment is 28 days. For the first 14 days, take 1 brick-red tablet (containing 2 mg of estradiol) orally daily, and for the next 14 days, take 1 yellow tablet (containing 2 mg of estradiol and 10 mg of dydrogesterone) orally daily.

After a course of treatment of 28 days, the next course of treatment should be started on the 29th day. Patients should take 1 tablet orally daily in the order indicated on the package. The medication should be taken continuously without interruption.

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible treatment duration for both initial and ongoing treatment of menopausal symptoms.

Treatment should usually start with 1/10 of the combined package of estradiol tablets/estradiol dydrogesterone tablets (estradiol tablets contain 1 mg of estradiol, and estradiol dydrogesterone tablets contain 1 mg of estradiol and 10 mg of dydrogesterone). The dose can then be adjusted according to individual needs based on clinical efficacy.

If the discomfort associated with estrogen deficiency is not improved, the dose can be increased and the estradiol tablets/estradiol dydrogesterone tablets combination package 2/10 (estradiol tablets contain estradiol 2 mg, estradiol dydrogesterone tablets contain estradiol 2 mg and dydrogesterone 10 mg) can be used.
