What are the traditional Chinese medicines for treating pharyngitis?

The problem of pharyngitis has been plaguing many people for a long time. If it is not effectively treated, the impact it causes is relatively large, so it can be treated. Using some Chinese medicine for conditioning, such as honeysuckle and dandelion, are effective Chinese medicines to help treat pharyngitis.

Pharyngitis is a common pharyngeal disease, usually caused by a virus and is difficult to treat. Over time, it will cause swelling of the throat, affect the swallowing of food, and even cause complications such as mumps and thyroiditis, so pharyngitis must be treated promptly. Traditional Chinese medicine and folk remedies both have good therapeutic effects.

Recipe 1: 12 grams of honeysuckle, 15 grams of wild chrysanthemum, and 10 grams of red peony root. Use 500 ml of water and simmer on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Take the first 2 decoctions in 2 doses, 1 dose per day. Treat sore throat, aversion to cold and obvious fever.

Recipe 2: 30 grams of dandelion (double the amount for fresh product). Use 450 ml of water, boil for 10 to 15 minutes, remove the residue and drink it warm. Decoction twice and take it again, 1 to 2 times a day. At the same time, gargle with light salt water, 3 to 4 times a day. It is used to treat swollen and blocked throat, mild chills and fever.

Recipe 3: 10 grams each of honeysuckle and chrysanthemum, and 3 pieces of sterculia lychnophora. Put the medicine in a water bottle, pour in half a bottle of boiling water, stopper the bottle tightly for 15 minutes, drink it frequently as tea, and finish it within 1 day. Take one dose daily to treat chronic pharyngitis that has not been cured for years.

The first two prescriptions are used for acute and chronic pharyngitis. If used promptly, they can prevent suppuration and cure the disease early. The third party specializes in treating chronic pharyngitis and laryngitis, but it needs to be used consistently to consolidate the therapeutic effect.
