What is the cause of tinnitus in the right ear? What causes tinnitus?

Tinnitus is familiar to many people. It is an abnormal noise that suddenly appears in the ears. If it occurs frequently, it will seriously affect life. So what is the reason for frequent tinnitus?

What causes tinnitus?

Tinnitus is caused by different lesions of various diseases. The etiology is complex and the mechanism of action is unclear. It manifests as the subjective perception of sound in the ear or skull without external sound source or electrical stimulation.

Clinically, it is both a concomitant symptom of many diseases and the first symptom of some serious diseases.

The ear is the orifice of the kidney, which is dominated by the kidney. It is also widely connected with other internal organs. Therefore, the imbalance of qi and blood in the five internal organs and twelve meridians can all lead to tinnitus.

Tinnitus caused by exogenous evil spirits and phlegm and blood stasis in the internal organs is mostly a real symptom, while tinnitus caused by internal organ deficiency and long-term illness is mostly a deficiency symptom. Their pathologies are different and are described as follows.

1. Tinnitus due to real disease

Wind evil attacks from outside

The ears are located on the head and face, and wind evil can easily invade the upper organs. The lungs are responsible for defending against external invasion and are not susceptible to wind evil invasion.

First, the lung meridian is affected. The acupoint is located in the ear. The wind evil goes up the lung meridian to the ear orifice, obstructing the light orifice and causing deafness and tinnitus.

Wind evil often occurs together with heat evil and cold evil. The ear is a yang orifice and wind-heat is a yang evil, so in clinical practice, wind-heat evil often attacks the ear.

Liver and Gallbladder Fire

Blood from the foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian circulates through the ears. The liver and gallbladder are the exterior and interior of each other. If one's emotions are frustrated, one becomes depressed and angry, and the liver qi is uncomfortable, it will turn into fire. The fire from the liver and gallbladder will go up along the Shaoyang meridian to the ears, disturbing the clear orifices and causing buzzing in the ears and deafness.

Phlegm and fire

The ears are the orifices of the body. If one eats excessively, consumes too much fatty and sweet food, or is addicted to women, tobacco, alcohol, and greasy food, the ears will be damaged.

It is easy for phlegm to form in the body or excessive thinking and fatigue may damage the spleen and stomach, causing the spleen and stomach to function poorly.

Body fluids are not good

When turbid Qi does not descend and phlegm and dampness accumulate, there will be nine types of fire. Phlegm and fire will accumulate and cover the clear orifices, causing deafness and tinnitus.

Blood stasis

The sensitivity of the ears depends on the unobstructed state of the meridians and the nourishment of Qi and blood. If blood stagnates, anger accumulates, the meridians are blocked, the ears are not nourished, and tinnitus and deafness occur.

2. Tinnitus due to deficiency

Insufficient kidney yin essence

The kidney opens up to the ear, and the kidney's yin essence is the material basis for the ear's hearing. If the body is deficient, or if a long-term illness or a fever damages the kidney or if excessive strain depletes the kidney's essence, or if the person is old, has exhausted the Tiankui, has insufficient kidney essence, and the marrow sea is empty, the ear orifice is deprived of oxygen, all of these can cause tinnitus.

The essence and blood of the liver and kidney have the same origin. Deficiency of kidney yin essence will lead to liver and kidney blood deficiency, yin cannot control yang, virtual fire rises, and lung yang rises.

If the clear orifices are invaded or the kidney water is insufficient and cannot control the heart fire, the heart fire will be felt and disturb the ears, which may also cause tinnitus and deafness.

Kidney Yang deficiency

Insufficient congenital endowment, or the entry of evil into the body, which directly damages the Yang Qi, or serious or long-term illness, or excessive sexual intercourse, can all deplete the kidney's function, causing the ear orifices to lose kidney Yang, block water from being transformed, and invade the clear orifices, resulting in tinnitus and dizziness.

Weak temper

The spleen is the foundation of the acquired constitution and is responsible for transporting and transforming water essence and nourishing the clear orifices. If one eats and drinks without restraint, overworks, thinks too much, and damages his spleen, the spleen will not be healthy.

The inability to transform qi and blood into blood that nourish the ears causes the meridians to become empty, leading to tinnitus. In addition, weak ear orifices are easily retained by evil toxins. In addition, spleen deficiency causes the clear qi to fail to rise, the turbid yin to fail to descend, and dampness and turbidity to accumulate, which block the ear orifices and also cause tinnitus.

Heart and spleen blood deficiency

The heart is located in the ear and controls blood vessels, while the spleen is the source of qi and blood.

If one has spleen deficiency, insufficient metabolism or excessive worry, or suffers from a serious or long-term illness, the heart blood will be consumed, resulting in insufficient heart blood, emptiness of the meridians, and loss of blood supply to the ear meridians, or even blood deficiency, which will block the meridians and cause tinnitus and deafness.
