Nowadays, people know that they should adopt Chinese medicine therapies such as acupuncture and massage to maintain their health. This acupoint can relieve physical fatigue and back pain after acupuncture.

This point is located just above Guanyuan point and on the upper part of the abdomen, with large intestine points on both sides. Guanyuan is the meeting point of Yuanyang. This acupoint belongs to the Du meridian and is located in the waist and back. The meridian qi flows through the large intestine point. It is the meeting point of Duyang and large intestine, so it is named Yaoyangguan.

Combined with Shenshu and Weizhong, it can warm the meridians and dispel cold, dredge blood circulation and activate collaterals, and is mainly used to treat cold and dampness-induced low back pain and leg pain; combined with Shenshu, Huantiao and Zusanli, it can dredge blood circulation and dispel cold, promote qi circulation and relieve pain, and is mainly used to treat lower limb paralysis; combined with Shenshu and Guanyuan, it can tonify the kidney and strengthen yang, and is mainly used to treat spermatorrhea and impotence; combined with Gu and Sanyinjiao, it can invigorate qi and harmonize blood, regulate menstruation and relieve pain, and is mainly used to treat irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, and leucorrhea.

Mingmen comes from "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Jia Yi Jing". Belongs to the Du meridian. Another name for being tired. Located between the spinous processes of the second and third lumbar vertebrae. In the lumbar dorsal fascia, supraspinal ligament and interspinous ligament, there are the posterior branch of the lumbar artery and the interspinous subcutaneous venous plexus; and the medial branch of the posterior branch of the lumbar nerve is distributed. It is mainly used to treat low back pain due to deficiency, enuresis, diarrhea, spermatorrhea, impotence, premature ejaculation, leucorrhea, irregular menstruation, repeated miscarriage, and loss of sweat. The Hegu point is located on the back of the hand, at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone, on the thumb side. Here is a simple way to find it: when the thumb and index finger are spread out at a 45-degree angle, the intersection of the extended angles of the bones is this point.
