What is the difference between a heat cold and a cold cold?

Many people will directly take some conventional medicine when they catch a cold, but some people not only do not get better, but the condition becomes worse. It turns out that colds are divided into heat colds and cold colds. So what is the difference between the two?

Colds are generally divided into two types: "hot colds" and "cold colds".

Hot colds are accompanied by fever, while cold colds have no fever symptoms. "Heat cold", called "yin heat" in traditional Chinese medicine, often occurs in spring and autumn. It is often caused by the large difference in indoor and outdoor temperatures, which leads to closure of sweat pores. The stimulation of sudden cold and heat induces symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, sore throat, dry mouth, yellow urine, and general fatigue.

More than 95% of fever and colds are caused by viruses, so we should "fight viruses first and then fight bacteria". To put it simply, viruses tend to "attack" faster than bacteria. In the first three to five days of fever, the virus is very active in the body. At this stage, antiviral drugs, such as ribavirin, should be used to control the replication and expansion of the virus. If the fever does not subside after 5 days, it means there are still bacteria in the body and antibiotics should be used.

Symptoms of fever and cold:

* Sore throat, usually before cold symptoms, with phlegm usually yellow or black.

*Thick nasal discharge, usually yellow

*The tongue coating is slightly yellow or white, and the tongue body is usually red.

*constipate

* Fever, thirst, irritability

The medications you should take are:

It is advisable to use pungent and warm herbs to relieve the exterior symptoms. You can use wind-heat cold granules, Yinqiao Jiedu pills, Isatis root, Sangju cold tablets, Yinqiao Jiedu granules, Shuanghuanglian oral liquid, etc.

As for colds, or common colds, antibiotics should not be used immediately, but some immunity-enhancing drugs, such as vitamin C effervescent tablets, should be used. Taking antibiotics casually is not good for the body. Colds are usually caused by fatigue, lack of rest, and being exposed to wind or cold. Colds usually occur more frequently in autumn and winter.

Symptoms of wind chill are:

*Severe pain in the back of the head, which means pain in the back of the head and difficulty in turning the neck.

* Afraid of cold and wind, usually need to wear a lot of clothes or cover with a big quilt to feel comfortable

*The nasal discharge is clear, white or slightly yellowish. If you have a stuffy nose but no runny nose, drink some hot water and start to have clear runny nose, this is also a cold.

* No tongue coating or thin white coating

The medications you should take are:

You can take wind-cold cold granules, cold and heat-clearing granules, Yinqiao Jiedu pills, Shensu pills, noon tea, etc. You can also decoct and drink it with 30 grams of scallion with roots, 9 grams of light fermented black beans, and 9 grams of ginger.
