Symptoms of hernia in children:

1. When the child cries, exercises vigorously, or has dry stools, there will be a protruding lump in the groin, which may sometimes even extend to the scrotum or labia.

2. If the hernia mass cannot return to its original position, nausea, fever, anorexia, crying, abdominal pain and irritability will occur.

3. When the child first becomes ill, the swelling will disappear if the child lies down and remains quiet. However, as the pressure in the abdomen continues to increase, the swelling will also drop into the scrotum.
