Clinically, if people do not receive timely treatment after suffering from cerebral palsy, they will leave some sequelae in their bodies. So, what are the consequences of cerebral palsy?

1. Movement dysfunction:

The ability of motor self-control is poor. In severe cases, the patients cannot grasp objects with their hands or walk with their feet. Some patients cannot even turn over, sit up, stand, or chew and swallow normally.

2. Posture disorders:

Various posture abnormalities and poor posture stability. If the baby still cannot hold the head upright at 3 months old, and is accustomed to leaning to one side, or shaking left and right, front and back, etc. It is not easy to open your fist when washing your hands.

3. Intellectual disability:

About 1/4 of the children have normal intelligence, about 1/2 have mild or moderate intellectual disabilities, and about 1/4 have severe intellectual disabilities.

4. Language barriers:

Symptoms such as difficulty expressing speech, unclear pronunciation or stuttering.

5. Visual and auditory impairment:

6. Tooth development disorder:

The teeth are loose and easy to break, there is oral and facial dysfunction, the facial and tongue muscles sometimes spasm or contract uncoordinatedly, there is difficulty chewing and swallowing, difficulty closing the mouth, and drooling, etc.
