Sweating is a very normal phenomenon. Sweating is a form of self-protection of the human body. Under normal circumstances, sweating means that the body is detoxifying, which is very beneficial to health. However, not all sweating is normal. We need to learn to distinguish it. Sometimes sweating may be a precursor to a serious illness. In traditional Chinese medicine, sweating is related to the human internal organs. What is the TCM explanation for easy sweating? 1. Spontaneous sweating Sweating for no reason without much activity is called spontaneous sweating. It is mostly caused by disharmony between the Ying and Wei systems, heat in the Yangming meridian, damage to the Qi and Yin by summer heat, and deficiency of Qi and Yang. It can be seen in the six exogenous evils or miscellaneous internal injuries. The former is mostly a positive syndrome, and the latter is mostly a negative syndrome. Spontaneous sweating in modern people is mostly caused by heart yin deficiency, and you can take Baizi Yangxin Pills as Chinese patent medicine. 2. Night sweats A disease characterized by abnormal sweating after falling asleep and stopping sweating after waking up. ——It is mostly caused by Yin deficiency. Yin deficiency leads to Yang hyperactivity. Yin cannot control Yang, and body fluid turns into sweat. Therefore, it is often accompanied by symptoms such as fever in the five parts of the body, insomnia, and dry mouth and throat. Common in patients with infiltrative stage of pulmonary tuberculosis. Many children have mild night sweats after falling asleep because they have sufficient yang energy. This is a normal phenomenon. 3. Excessive sweating and dizziness - hypoglycemia. Early symptoms include sweating, tremors, fatigue, dizziness, and nausea. In this case, you can choose to carry some sugar with you, and when you experience symptoms, eat a piece of candy to relieve the symptoms. 4. Yellow sweat—dampness and heat in the liver and gallbladder. Some people sweat, leaving yellow marks on their white sweatshirts or shirts. People who sweat yellow sweat often have damp heat in the liver and gallbladder, strong liver fire, and are prone to temper tantrums. Because excessive liver fire can cause decreased liver function or bile stasis and blockage, and increase the concentration of bilirubin in the blood, when it is excreted from the body with sweat, yellow sweat may appear. 5. Excessive sweating and weight loss - hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism can cause weight loss, rapid or irregular heartbeat, intolerance to heat, rapid hunger, and excessive eating. Of course, excessive sweating is also one of its manifestations. In such a situation, you should pay attention to your emotions and avoid being too excited and hyperactive. 6. Sweating of the palms and soles of feet - blood deficiency Diagnosis: If you are nervous, excited or afraid, your palms or soles will sweat easily. Chinese medicine believes that this is a manifestation of spleen dysfunction, damp heat in the spleen and stomach, and blood deficiency. Massage your abdomen after meals every day, first rubbing it clockwise for 30 circles, then rubbing it counterclockwise for 30 circles. In addition, you should control your food intake, avoid eating raw or cold food, and eat until you are 70% to 80% full. 7. Sweating on the chest: disharmony between the spleen and stomach If your chest sweats frequently, Chinese medicine believes that this is a sign of disharmony between the spleen and stomach, indicating that blood circulation in the body is very slow and oxygen transport is not smooth. Don't be overly anxious, eat less greasy, raw and cold food, and drink water soaked with astragalus and jujube to relieve symptoms. 8. Sweating on the forehead - Hyperactivity of liver yang Diagnosis: If you often sweat a lot on your forehead, Chinese medicine believes that it may be caused by hyperactivity of liver yang. Recommendation: Try to keep a peaceful mood, get angry less often, and get enough sleep, otherwise it is easy to cause Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of liver Yang. Drinking wolfberry tea every day has the effect of calming the liver. |
