Herpes is mostly distributed along a nerve on one side of the body, arranged in a band-like shape, with local burning sensation, and millet-grain or mung bean-sized papules or blisters appearing on the skin erythema, which form erosive surfaces after rupture. So what is the cause of shingles? How to treat it? Causes: Herpes zoster is caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) and is characterized by clusters of blisters and neuralgia distributed in a band-like manner along one side of the peripheral nerves. During the eruption stage, the disease can be diagnosed based on the presence of clustered blisters arranged in a band-like pattern, unilateral distribution, and obvious neuralgia. The prodromal stage of the eruption is difficult to diagnose. Its characteristics can be summarized as follows: the age of onset is uncertain, the disease is generally unilateral, the site of onset is relatively limited (the characteristics of the nerve course have not yet been fully manifested), there is discomfort or neuralgia in the affected area, but the pain is milder than in the eruption stage, the pain is continuous, and it is not greatly affected by external factors (such as fatigue, diet, etc.), and there are generally no symptoms of gastrointestinal and respiratory tract involvement. Clinical manifestations: 1. Shingles often occurs suddenly. Before the onset of the disease, there is burning pain in the local skin, accompanied by mild fever, fatigue, weakness and other systemic symptoms. 2. Herpes zoster often occurs in the "intercostal nerves" of the chest and back, the "trigeminal nerves" of the head and face, the "lumbar sacral nerves" and other parts, and is accompanied by local lymph node enlargement. 3. The skin papules in the affected area are arranged in a band-like pattern, appearing along the peripheral ganglion distribution area on one side, and then clusters of papulovesicles ranging in size from rice grains to mung beans are generated on the erythema, which quickly turn into blisters, gradually turn into blood blisters and even pustules, and are finally covered with necrotic crusts. 4. The prodromal symptoms of herpes zoster include pain around the nerve trunk at the site of the disease that lasts for about three days, and swollen and painful lymph nodes in the area. 5. When the patient's resistance is reduced due to leukemia or lymphoma, the rash is not only local, but may appear as scattered blisters, similar to chickenpox that spreads to the limbs or trunk. Treatment principles: The principles of herpes zoster treatment are: antiviral, analgesic, improving immunity, shortening the course of the disease; protecting local skin and preventing secondary infection. Green therapy features: 1. Drug application technology Method 1: Application of Chinese medicine: Tear the absorbent cotton into thin slices, spread them on the affected area, and light them on fire. The skin is then routinely disinfected. Realgar 5g, borneol 3g, beehive 2g, grind all the medicines into powder, mix with skin penetration liquid into a paste, tear strips of the Artemisia silerata cake in the medical cold compress, put the medicine on the Artemisia silerata cake, stick it on the affected area, fix it with gauze, once a day. Effect: The pain disappeared the next day. 10 cases were treated. The mild cases were cured in 3 times, and the severe cases were cured in 5-7 days. 100% effective Method 2: Use of ready-made medicines: Routinely disinfect the affected area and clean the blisters. Indigo 3g, Meihua Dianshe Pills 3, grind all the medicines into powder, mix with sesame oil, tear the Artemisia silerata cake into strips, put the medicine on the Artemisia silerata cake, stick it on the affected area, fix it with gauze, once a day. Effect: The pain disappeared the next day. 11 cases were treated, 3 of them recovered within 3 days, the rest recovered within 5-7 days, and 1 person had sequelae. 100% effective Method 3: Use of Western medicine: Routinely disinfect the local affected area and clean the blisters. 2ml of lidocaine, 1ml of vitamin B12, 0.2g of cimetidine, and other medicinal penetration enhancers are mixed together and then torn into strips of Artemisia sphaerocephala cake and applied to the affected area. 2. Green oxygen therapy After local disinfection of the affected area, bloodletting and cupping are performed, and after cleaning, Yiben Gongkang Ozone Antibacterial Oil is evenly applied to the affected area. After covering with plastic wrap, heat with a TDP lamp for 15 minutes (Note: the temperature of the baking lamp is slightly lower and should not be overheated.) Wait until the skin returns to its natural temperature and remove the plastic wrap. Once a day. |
