The role of camphor leaves

The role of camphor leaves

Camphor tree leaves are oval in shape, and the surface of the leaves looks very green and smooth, as if there is a layer of oil on them, but the back of the camphor tree leaves is pink and white. Camphor tree is a relatively special plant. In winter, its leaves will not turn yellow or fall off. However, during the Qingming Festival every year, the old leaves of the camphor tree will turn fiery red and fall off when the wind blows.

Camphor trees generally grow in a relatively humid environment. In my country, camphor trees are widely distributed, from inland to coastal areas. For example, camphor trees can be seen in Sichuan, Anhui, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other places. The leaves of camphor tree have certain medicinal effects.

Camphor leaves can dispel wind and dampness, and also have analgesic and insecticidal effects. It has a good effect in treating rheumatic bone pain, stomachache, burns from water or fire, sores and swelling, chronic lower limb ulcers, skin itching, insect bites, scabies and iron injuries.

Nowadays, the air quality around us is relatively poor, and some toxic gases seriously endanger human health. Camphor tree leaves can absorb these toxic gases and release the oxygen we breathe.
