How to deal with facial swelling?

1. Drink less water at night

This is mainly because the water absorption is slower at night, causing facial edema. Therefore, you should drink less water at night. When drinking water, take small sips instead of guzzling it. This will help absorb water and avoid edema.

2. Eat a light diet and eat more diuretic foods

Diet and edema are closely related. What you eat today will immediately show up in your body tomorrow. So eat less salty, light-flavored food. In addition to paying attention to a light diet, you should also eat more foods that are good for drainage, such as red beans, coix seeds, cucumbers, watermelons, etc. Although this method may not work immediately, it is safe, healthy and long-lasting. As long as you persist, you will definitely see results.

3. Wash your face and massage

When cleansing your face, you need to massage to soothe the skin and enhance the power of cleansing the skin. The specific method is to use the tips of your index or middle finger to gently circle your face, either clockwise or counterclockwise.

4. Drink Black Coffee

After breakfast, drink a cup of pure black coffee. After about 30 minutes to 1 hour, you will see the swelling on your face disappear. Because the caffeine contained in black coffee has the effect of drainage and diuresis, and accelerates the consumption of body calories, it can quickly eliminate facial swelling, especially eye swelling.

5. Keep exercising

When it comes to facial swelling, many people think that only movements that act on the face can cause swelling. This idea is wrong. No matter which part of the body is obese or swollen, whole-body exercise is beneficial and necessary. Sweating through exercise can eliminate excess water and toxins from the body, which can effectively relieve swelling in the body, and of course the face is no exception.
