What causes blood in urine?

Under normal circumstances, there will be no bleeding in urine, but if you suffer from acute glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis, renal tuberculosis, kidney and urinary tract damage, allergic purpura, etc., there will be bleeding in urine, which will seriously affect your normal life.

1. Acute glomerulonephritis with hematuria, oliguria, proteinuria, edema, hypertension, and tonsillitis one week before the onset of the disease.

2. Pyelonephritis, hematuria accompanied by dysuria, urgency, frequency, low back pain and fever.

3. The characteristics of urinary system stones are hematuria accompanied by renal colic, or symptoms such as interrupted urination, difficulty urinating, and painful urination.

4. More than 90% of patients with renal tuberculosis have hematuria, which is characterized by gradually increasing urgency, frequency and pain when urinating.

5. Kidney and urinary tract injuries are often accompanied by a history of lumbar or abdominal trauma, such as bruises, collisions, falls, etc.

6. Allergic purpura is a disease that causes bleeding spots on the skin, gastrointestinal bleeding, and joint pain. Hematuria occurs 2 to 4 weeks after the appearance of bleeding spots on the skin.

7. Systemic diseases: Vitamin C and vitamin K deficiency, and blood diseases such as leukemia and hemophilia can cause hematuria.

8. Drug-induced hematuria: Some drugs are harmful to the kidneys and can cause hematuria after taking them. Such as gentamicin, tetracycline, sulfonamides, kanamycin, etc.

9. Temporary hematuria is caused by drinking too little water. It will disappear quickly after drinking more water and diluting the urine.

Home treatment: It is recommended to take Sanjin tablets and levofloxacin orally. At the same time, you should drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and irritating foods, avoid warm foods such as mutton, dog meat, rabbit meat, and greasy foods to avoid aggravating inflammation. In addition to drug treatment, drink plenty of water, preferably more than 2000 ml per day, and urinate every 2 to 3 hours. This acts as a urinary tract flush. In addition, try to avoid sexual intercourse during the illness to reduce congestion of the urogenital tract and prevent mutual infection.
