With the development of medicine, tuberculosis is no longer an incurable disease. The disease can be controlled through reasonable treatment. Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis should also pay attention to health care. Moxibustion is a good preventive and control method, which can improve the disease to a certain extent through acupuncture points. Which part should be moxibustioned for tuberculosis? Gallbladder Shu is a very important acupoint, and it is beneficial to frequently apply moxibustion to this acupoint. 1. Traditional Chinese Medicine Moxibustion for the Treatment of Tuberculosis Traditional Chinese medicine calls pulmonary tuberculosis "tuberculosis". People with this disease have yellow whole body, yellow urine, and yellow eyes. This disease is not easy to cure, we can treat it on the gallbladder meridian. The lungs belong to metal, and metal overcomes wood, so they will move towards the gallbladder. Many tuberculosis patients may not cough, and the medicine may suppress their coughing. When we treat pulmonary tuberculosis, Gallbladder Shu is a very good major acupoint. When treating a disease, when your hand presses on the painful point, that is the place where the acupoint should be located. Gallbladder Shu is the name of a meridian acupoint, which comes from the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Jia Yi Jing". Belongs to the foot-sun bladder meridian. The back-shu point of the gallbladder. On the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the tenth thoracic vertebra. The main diseases treated by the Gallbladder Shu point are: gallbladder meridian diseases, such as cholecystitis, sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis, jaundice, bitter taste in the mouth, rib pain, tuberculosis, hot flashes, etc. The most commonly used method is Sihua moxibustion, which is to take the gallbladder point and the diaphragm point one and a half inches away from the seventh vertebra, and moxibustion these four points at the same time. 2. Early symptoms of tuberculosis 2.1 Cough If you have a cough for three weeks or more and have blood in your sputum, you should highly suspect tuberculosis. Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis mainly have dry cough. If accompanied by bronchial tuberculosis, they often have a more severe and irritating dry cough. 2.2. Expectoration Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis cough up less sputum, which is usually white and sticky. Patients with concurrent infection and bronchiectasis often cough up yellow purulent sputum. 2.3 Hemoptysis When tuberculous necrosis affects the walls of pulmonary capillaries, blood may appear in sputum. If large blood vessels are affected, hemoptysis of varying amounts may occur. If an aneurysm or bronchial artery forms in the cavity and ruptures, fatal hemoptysis may occur. 2.4 Fever Fever is one of the main symptoms of early pulmonary tuberculosis. Patients with mild symptoms mostly show low fever. The characteristic of fever is long-term low fever in the afternoon, generally between 37 and 38 degrees Celsius, and the fever subsides in the early morning of the next day. It is also called "hot flashes." 3. Transmission routes of tuberculosis 3.1 Respiratory tract infection It is the main route of infection. Healthy children may become infected and develop primary lung lesions after inhaling bacteria-carrying droplets or dust. 3.2 Digestive tract infection The disease is mostly caused by drinking unsterilized or poorly sterilized milk contaminated with bovine tuberculosis bacteria or other food contaminated with human tuberculosis bacteria, and the disease mostly occurs in the primary lesions in the pharynx or intestines. 3.3 Other infections It can occasionally be transmitted through contact with broken skin, mucous membranes, reproductive organs, etc. Congenital tuberculosis can also be transmitted through the placenta or by inhalation of amniotic fluid, often resulting in miliary tuberculosis or genital tuberculosis shortly after birth. Humans are generally susceptible. |
