What is the cause of Meniere's syndrome

If you want to effectively treat Meniere's syndrome, you must first pay attention to understanding the cause. In many cases, the occurrence of Meniere's syndrome is related to endocrine disorders, viral infections, or the patient's mood swings, so treatment and prevention should be based on the cause.

1. The occurrence of Meniere's syndrome is related to factors such as allergic reactions , endocrine disorders, viral infections, and mood swings, among which emotional factors are the most important. The symptoms of Meniere's syndrome often make the patient more emotionally unstable, thus easily forming a vicious cycle.

2. There are many theories about the cause of the disease, and there is no consensus yet. For example, allergic reactions, endocrine disorders, vitamin deficiency, and psychoneurological factors can cause autonomic dysfunction, which in turn causes vascular and nerve dysfunction, increased capillary permeability, and leads to water accumulation in the membranous labyrinth, swelling of the cochlear duct and saccule, which stimulate the cochlear and vestibular receptors, causing a series of clinical symptoms such as tinnitus, deafness, and vertigo.

3. Immune response: Regarding the immune response, some people believe that some patients with Meniere's syndrome have symptoms of hay fever, and the onset of their symptoms is related to the season, while some are related to suspected allergenic foods or known allergens. Therefore, it is speculated that the immune response plays an important role in some special Meniere's patients.

4. Lesions and viral infections: Some people believe that viral infections can cause damage to the endolymphatic ducts and endolymphatic sacs. Subclinical viral infections of the inner ear can cause hydrops in the membranous labyrinth more than 10 years later, resulting in Meniere's syndrome.
