Human albumin is actually an imported drug and cannot be used indiscriminately in life, but we all know that its main function is to maintain plasma protein levels. It should generally be stored in an environment of 2 to 8°C. 1. Human albumin is an imported drug. German Behring human albumin can maintain plasma protein levels physiologically. Albumin is the main component of plasma protein, accounting for 50-60% of plasma protein. Herrmann et al.'s study showed that 21% of adult hospitalized patients suffered from hypoproteinemia. There is a certain correlation between protein concentration and patient recovery. If the plasma protein concentration decreases by 10 g/L, the mortality rate will increase by 137%, the morbidity rate will increase by 89%, the ICU stay will be prolonged by 28%, the hospital stay will be prolonged by 71%, and the medical expenses will increase by 66%. In critically ill patients, if the plasma protein concentration is lower than 2 g/L, the mortality rate is almost 100%. The cost of plasma protein testing is relatively low, and plasma protein concentration can be used as a routine diagnostic basis for high-risk patients. The relationship between hypoproteinemia and poorer outcomes has stimulated clinicians to administer exogenous albumin to patients. However, a decrease in albumin is a pathological result rather than a cause of disease progression, and blindly adding exogenous albumin is not very beneficial. 2. Human albumin is generally administered by intravenous drip or intravenous push . To prevent dehydration of body tissues during large-scale injection, 5% glucose injection or sodium chloride injection can be appropriately diluted for intravenous drip (it is advisable to use a blood transfusion set equipped with a filter device). The infusion rate should not exceed 2 ml per minute, but in the first 15 minutes, special attention should be paid to slowing down the speed and gradually accelerating to the above speed.
3. Human albumin is stored in a dark place at 2-8℃ and is valid for 5 years. Guidance: Daily care: 1. Do not use if the liquid is turbid, precipitated, has foreign matter or cracks in the bottle, the bottle cap is loose, or it is expired. 2. After opening this product, it should be infused once and not divided into several times or given to a second person. 3. If the patient has any discomfort during the infusion, stop the infusion immediately. 4. Those with obvious dehydration should be rehydrated at the same time. 5. Freezing is strictly prohibited during transportation and storage. |
