How to treat swollen lymph nodes in the neck?

Sometimes, we may accidentally find lumps on the neck, and they are obvious when we touch them with our hands. You need to be alert, as this may be swollen lymph nodes. Lymph is an important immune organ in the human body. Generally speaking, there is no need to worry too much about swollen lymph nodes in the neck. 1. Purslane, chrysanthemum and mung bean porridge.

Soak mung beans for half a day, wash and chop purslane, and dry and grind chrysanthemum into powder. When the mung beans are half cooked, add purslane and glutinous rice and simmer until it becomes porridge. Add chrysanthemum powder and cook for a while. Take it twice a day. This method has the medicinal effect of clearing away heat, detoxifying and removing dampness, and can be used to treat acute lymphangitis, in which one or several thread-like red lines appear on the wound of the lower limbs, which are hard and tender.

2. Houttuynia cordata porridge.

30g Houttuynia cordata (double the amount if fresh), 100g rice, and appropriate amount of white sugar. Clean Houttuynia cordata, put it in a pot, add appropriate amount of water, soak for 5-10 minutes, boil it in water to extract the juice, add rice to cook porridge, or wash fresh Houttuynia cordata, cut it into small pieces, add it to the porridge when it is cooked, add sugar, and boil it for one or two more times. Take one dose a day for 3-5 consecutive days. It can clear away heat and detoxify. It is suitable for swollen and painful lymphadenitis, hard and tenderness, etc.

3. Andrographis paniculata porridge.

10g of Andrographis paniculata, 100g of rice, and appropriate amount of seasoning. Select and wash Andrographis paniculata, put it into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, soak for 5-10 minutes, boil it in water to extract the juice, add rice to cook porridge, add salt and other seasonings when it is cooked, and boil it for one or two more times. Take 1-2 doses daily for 3-5 days. It can clear away heat, detoxify, reduce swelling and disperse lumps. Suitable for swollen and painful lymphadenitis, dry mouth and bitter taste, etc.
