What to do about neuralgia

What to do about neuralgia

I believe that many of my friends have experienced symptoms of headaches in their lives, and some people may be troubled by headaches frequently. There are many types of headaches, and neuralgia is one of the more common ones. So what should we do about neuralgia? There are actually many reasons that cause neuralgia in the human body, which I believe most people can guess, and neuralgia is also very harmful to the human body.

In our daily life and work, when neuralgia occurs for some reason, our body and normal life will usually be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, neuralgia brings great harm to our patients and friends, so curing neuralgia is a must. Let’s talk about the treatment of neuralgia.

Neuralgia is also called tension headache or muscle contraction headache. Neuralgia is more common in young people and is intermittent. It is often caused by tension, anxiety, fatigue, incorrect writing or reading posture, etc., which lead to continuous contraction of the head, face or neck muscles and cause headaches. The headache is characterized by a feeling of heavy pressure, tightness, or stuffy pain, and the mind often feels unclear. The headache is usually mild in the morning and worsens in the afternoon and evening. It can be triggered or aggravated by anxiety or tension. It may be accompanied by insomnia, dizziness, forgetfulness, irritability, etc.

Rub your temples

Every morning after waking up and before going to bed at night, use the middle fingers of both hands to press and rub your temples in circles. First rub 7 to 8 circles forward, then rub 7 to 8 circles backward. Repeat this several times for several days. The neuralgia can be greatly relieved.

Hot water hand soak

When a neuralgia occurs, you can immerse your hands in a pot of hot water (the water temperature should be the limit that your hands can tolerate after being immersed in the water). Soak for about half an hour. This will dilate the blood vessels in your hands and reduce the blood flow to the brain accordingly, thereby gradually alleviating the neuralgia.

Drink Tianning Tea

Tianning tea contains ingredients such as Patchouli, Angelica dahurica, and mulberry leaves. Mulberry leaves have the functions of dispersing wind and heat, clearing the lungs and moistening dryness, cooling blood and improving eyesight. It can effectively relieve neuralgia headaches, and it is made from pure Chinese medicine, has no side effects, and can be consumed with confidence.

Eat foods rich in magnesium

Patients with neuralgia should regularly eat foods rich in magnesium, such as walnuts, peanuts, soybeans, kelp, oranges, almonds, whole grains and various green leafy vegetables, which can help relieve the symptoms of neuralgia.

Chinese medicine for nasal congestion

Take 15g each of Chuanxiong, Angelica dahurica and roasted Polygala tenuifolia and dry them, then add 7g of borneol, grind them into fine powder and bottle them for later use. When treating neuralgia, you can wrap a small amount of medicine powder in silk cloth and plug it into the right nostril. Generally, the pain will be relieved in about 15 minutes after plugging the nose.

To sum up, we can understand some common treatments for neuralgia, and these treatments are very effective for the treatment of neuralgia in ordinary people. So for our neuralgia patients, when you encounter neuralgia again in the future, you might as well try these methods to treat neuralgia. I believe it will be cured soon.
