What methods does traditional Chinese medicine use to treat genital warts?

Traditional Chinese medicine has a history of thousands of years in our country for treating diseases. However, some friends still do not believe in traditional Chinese medicine. (I) Treatment of Damp-Heat Type in Liver Meridian

Main symptoms: The warts are moist and red, with itchy discomfort. Women have increased leucorrhea, dry mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, dry and hard stools, yellow urine, red tongue, greasy yellow tongue coating, and rapid and stringy pulse.

Treatment method: Clear away damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, detoxify and resolve stagnation.

Prescription: Longdan Xiegan Decoction with modifications: gentian, gardenia, scutellaria, bupleurum, isatis root, smilax glabra, oriental water plantain, rehmannia root, coix seed, dandelion, and licorice.

(II) Treatment of stasis and toxicity

Main symptoms: The warts become larger and harder and do not heal over time. The skin is dark red or purple-black and is cauliflower-shaped or cockscomb-shaped, with a foul-smelling secretion. Subjective symptoms are mild or absent, tongue is pale purple, pulse is sluggish.

Treatment method: Promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, soften and disperse nodules.

Prescription: Taohong Siwu Decoction with modifications: peach kernel, safflower, angelica, red peony root, rehmannia root, chuanxiong, isatis root, selfheal, beehive, lithospermum officinale, raw oyster.

3. Treatment of spleen deficiency and toxicity

Main symptoms: Recurrent attacks of genital warts, which recur despite repeated treatments, with symptoms of fatigue, pale complexion, shortness of breath and poor appetite, loose stools, clear and long urine, and excessive and thin leucorrhea in women. Pale tongue and deep and fine pulse.

Treatment method: Strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, detoxify and resolve nodules.

Prescription: Chushi Weiling Decoction with modifications: Atractylodes, Phellodendron, Tangerine Peel, Polyporus, Alisma, Poria, Atractylodes, Gardenia, Akebia, Portulaca, Oldenlandia Diffusa, and Licorice.
