Soaking your feet in mugwort water can effectively eliminate false fire and cold fire, and can treat portal ulcers, sore throat, periodontitis, gingivitis, otitis media and other recurring diseases of the head and face that are related to false fire and cold fire.

Whenever the above-mentioned diseases occur, you can take a handful of moxa leaves, boil water and then soak your feet in the moxa leaves, or take a quarter of pure moxa sticks, tear them into pieces and put them in the foot bath pot, brew them with boiling water for a while, and then soak your feet in some warm water after the moxa leaves are soaked. Soak until your whole body sweats slightly, but not profusely. Drink more warm water, be careful not to eat cold food, and get enough rest. However, you should not soak your feet in mugwort leaves frequently, because soaking your feet in mugwort leaves can draw the false fire and cold fire downward, which will cause Qi and blood deficiency in the head and face, and insufficient blood supply, which will cause dizziness, headaches, and emotional changes.

For patients with severe cold and dampness in their bodies, you can soak your feet in mugwort water once a week. While soaking the mugwort, drink a cup of ginger and red dates water to remove the cold without causing diarrhea.

However, some people are very weak and will have toothache, mouth ulcers, etc. after eating some nourishing foods. In such cases, you can wait until you get a sore throat before soaking your feet in moxa water. When you don't have a sore throat, you can continue to eat nourishing foods and insist on soaking your feet in warm water every day. Be careful not to eat cold foods to prevent the invasion of cold and dampness. Gradually you will find that it is not easy to get a sore throat after eating nourishing foods, and your physical fitness will slowly improve.
