What does left kidney effusion mean?

With the improvement of living standards, people suffer from more and more diseases. Every part of the body or body may develop disease if we do not pay attention, which brings great troubles to our lives. Fluid effusion in the left kidney is what we usually call infectious hydronephrosis. Patients must go to the hospital for medical treatment. Infectious hydronephrosis may be caused by trauma in life or some inflammation. Eat more light food in daily life.

The role of the kidneys in the human body is very obvious. When hydronephrosis occurs, these functions will be weakened, and in severe cases it may even affect life safety. To avoid hydronephrosis, you need to know its causes. So, what causes hydronephrosis?

1. Ureteral stenosis

Ureteral stenosis can directly lead to difficulty in urination, but the ureteral stenosis mentioned here refers to intrinsic ureteral stenosis. Intrinsic ureteral stenosis usually occurs at the junction of the renal pelvis and ureteropelvic junction, and hydronephrosis will occur if not treated in time.

2. High ureteral opening

No matter what kind of disease it is, it may be related to congenital conditions, and hydronephrosis is no exception. Congenital upward displacement of the ureteric junction can lead to reflux, renal pelvic dilatation, and subsequent hydronephrosis.

3. Ureter condition

The actual condition of the ureter will directly affect urination. When the ureters are twisted, adhered, or banded, it can cause urination errors, which may lead to hydronephrosis.

4. Inflammation

Inflammation or trauma may lead to local fixation, ureteral twisting and hydronephrosis.

Treatment:

① Antibacterial drugs: such as erythromycin, cephalosporin, etc.

② Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine: Antibacterial Chinese medicines that clear away heat and detoxify can be used, such as bupleurum, phellodendron, scutellaria, and plantain seeds.

health care:

① Increase energy intake, but in order to avoid increasing the burden on the kidneys caused by hydrops, it is not advisable to eat too much protein-rich food. Energy intake mainly depends on carbohydrates and fat foods.

② If it is unilateral hydronephrosis, there is no need to limit the amount of water you drink. If it is bilateral hydronephrosis and there is renal dysfunction, you should limit your daily water intake.
