7. Used for hyperactivity of liver yang and dizziness

This product is bitter and descending in nature, enters the liver, and has the effect of calming liver yang. It is often used together with Uncaria rhynchophylla, mother of pearl, chrysanthemum, etc. to enhance its liver-calming effect.

8. Used for liver depression and qi stagnation, chest and flank pain, and breast pain.

This product is pungent and dispersing, enters the liver, and has the effect of soothing the liver and relieving depression. It can be used in combination with drugs for regulating liver qi such as Bupleurum, Cyperus rotundus, and Citrus aurantium to treat chest and flank pain.
