Severe symptoms of neuralgia

Severe symptoms of neuralgia
Regarding neuralgia, it is very common in daily life. If we step up prevention measures for this disease in real life, it will never occur. In addition, if you accidentally get this disease, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time. With current medical technology, this disease is still easily cured. If you accidentally get this disease, don't worry too much. After all, it is not a particularly serious disease. Just seek medical treatment in time and take medicine on time. You will definitely recover. Let’s take a closer look at the specific symptoms of severe neuralgic headaches.

Main symptoms:

Persistent dull pain, pressure, and heaviness in the head. Some patients complain of a "tightening" feeling in the head. Most patients have headaches on both sides, mostly on the temporal sides, occipital area, top of the head or the entire head. The nature of the headache is dull pain, distending pain, pressure, numbness and a band-like tight feeling. Temple pain and forehead pain are mostly vascular headaches, and vasodilation causes swelling and pain. If the condition is serious, it is recommended that the patient go to a regular large hospital for examination and treatment, which has a very good effect. Pay attention to regular life, avoid excessive fatigue and stress, and prevent sub-health conditions.

Triggering factors:

Neuralgia, also known as psychogenic headache, is one of the most common types of headaches in clinical practice. It is mainly due to long-term nervous activity in a state of tension and fatigue, or strong mental stimulation causing brain functional disorders, resulting in a lower threshold of pain tolerance and tension in the head muscles, thus causing headaches. Neuralgia headaches mainly include headaches caused by neurasthenia and headaches caused by hysteria.

Its prevention and treatment is a very complex and meticulous task. It is necessary to adopt the principle of combining psychology, drugs and other therapies. Only comprehensive treatment can achieve better results.

Preventive Care:

Drink alcohol in moderation; eat complex carbohydrates (whole-wheat bread, pasta and potatoes with skins), which are especially helpful in reducing mood swings, eat less refined biscuits, cakes, etc.; eat enough fresh fruits and vegetables; eat less high-fat foods; eat slowly and take enough time to eat, as eating quickly will only make you more nervous. Avoid falling into the trap of self-medicating, such as smoking more, numbing the pain with alcohol, taking medication, or drinking too much coffee, which will only make things worse and will not help.

Make sure you have time to relax every day. We all need to recharge. Many people relax by listening to music, reading, taking a bath, or watching a comedy. It doesn't have to be too difficult to start with - just a light walk. Engage in outdoor activities but don't exercise too vigorously. You can take long walks, swim, jog, or travel outdoors. In addition to paying attention to your own psychological adjustments, you can also adjust the human body from an environmental and physiological perspective to relieve headaches.

Headaches can be improved by bathing, but the bathing time should not exceed 20 minutes and the water temperature should not exceed 35 to 36 degrees Celsius. Some people are suitable for taking a shower. If you feel your back and neck are tight and hard when you have a headache, you can rinse these parts with a slow stream of warm water for 5-10 minutes.
