What is the reason for less leg hair?

What is the reason for less leg hair?

When walking on the street, you will often find that because of the hot weather, many people are wearing shorts, and their calves are basically exposed. The amount of leg hair can be seen from the calves. Some people have less hair on their legs, while others have more hair. The reason for less hair is unstable hormones, and some people are born with smooth skin, but if there is more hair, it can be considered that it is caused by hormone growth or hormone instability.

Causes of excessive hairiness: It is common for young men to have excessive hairiness, such as dense beards and hairy sweat. If a girl has thick hair around her mouth and coarse hair growing on her chest, areola, thighs, etc., it can easily make her worried. So, what is the reason for girls to have heavy sweat hair?

Hair grows as the skin develops. After careful observation, you can find that the human skin is covered with hair follicles and hair may grow everywhere, except for the palms, soles of feet, lips, nipples, and the backs of the ends of fingers and toes.

During the fetal period, there is only head hair and lanugo. Soon after birth, the lanugo gradually falls off. The hair in the fetal period is thin and light. A few months after birth, the hair becomes darker and thicker. During puberty, hair growth becomes more active. Some hair follicles buried in the skin grow new hair under the action of hormones, which appear on adolescents as a sign of secondary sexual characteristics.

Regardless of whether it is a boy or a girl, not only will the hair become thicker and pubic hair and armpit hair appear, but boys will also grow beards and even thick sweat hair will grow on parts of the body such as the chest. This hormone, which acts on hair follicles to promote hair growth, is mainly a male hormone. Therefore, the density and thickness of hair depends to a large extent on the level of male hormones in the human body and the sensitivity of hair follicles to hormones. In women, male hormones are mainly secreted by the adrenal cortex and a small amount by the ovaries. During puberty, girls gain body hair, and grow pubic hair and armpit hair, which is the effect of male hormones secreted by the adrenal cortex and ovaries. It’s just that the male hormone content in women is much lower than that in men. Taking testosterone as an example, men have more than 10 times more than women.
