Favism is an uncommon disease with a hereditary nature. The patient lacks glucose phosphate in the body. This disease is quite scary. Children are an important group that suffers from this disease. If the baby with favism gets angry, he should be adjusted in time. He can take certain medicines for treatment, or he can use certain Chinese medicine for conditioning and treatment. What to do if your baby with favism gets angry? 1. Western medicine 1. Blood transfusion: This disease is acute hemolysis and severe anemia. Blood transfusion or transfusion of concentrated red blood cells is the most effective treatment measure. In severe cases, blood transfusions may be required repeatedly. However, a rapid screening test for glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase should be performed on the blood source to avoid blood supply from people with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, which may cause the patient to suffer a second hemolysis. 2. Adrenal cortical hormone: It mainly has immunosuppressive effect, so it should be used early, in large amounts and for a short period of time. 3. Correct acidosis: There is often varying degrees of acidosis during the hemolytic stage of favism. In severe cases, simple blood transfusion is ineffective and should be actively corrected. This is a key measure to rescue critically ill patients. 4. Fluid replacement: Drink more water or take more fluids to improve microcirculation, maintain effective blood circulation, and promote kidney acid and hemoglobin excretion. But acute renal failure should be prevented. When acute renal failure occurs, attention should be paid to maintaining water and electrolyte balance. 5. Symptomatic treatment: If favism is complicated by infection, hemolysis may be aggravated. High fever, hypoxia and increased heart rate may lead to heart failure, so complications should be actively treated. Avoid using medications that may damage the kidneys. 2. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine: Take 30 grams of Artemisia capillaris, 18 grams each of Rhizoma Cyperi, Poria, and Imperata root, 15 grams each of Plantago, Talcum, and Rehmannia glutinosa, 12 grams each of Aucklandia lappa (added later), Atractylodes macrocephala, and Angelica sinensis, and 10 grams of Bupleurum.
