In fact, enlarged pores are not difficult to recover in life. It is more recommended that everyone find the cause of the enlarged pores and give symptomatic treatment.

Differential diagnosis 1. Blocked pores

Clogged pores and rough skin are major skin problems people face. When pores are clogged, the oil inside cannot be discharged, which will cause rough skin or form acne.

2. Excessive keratosis pilaris

It is a disease caused by excessive keratinization of the pores. Because the patient's pores are blocked by keratinized cutin, small red rashes with rough pores appear. It is a skin disease with hereditary characteristics. The most common sites of occurrence are the arms, calves, thighs, or under the cheeks.

Treatment 1. Laser therapy

(1) Laser treatment for enlarged pores: After irradiating the skin with lasers of different wavelengths, the selective photothermal effect stimulates the proliferation and rearrangement of subcutaneous collagen, which not only blocks the growth of bacteria, but also rearranges the subcutaneous tissue to make the skin tighter, more elastic, and more lustrous, achieving multiple skin beautification effects.

(2) Treatments such as fruit acid peels, microneedle treatments, and hyaluronic acid injections can also effectively improve enlarged pores.

(3) Topical retinoids are effective.

2. Basic care

(1) Makeup removal and cleansing: Carefully perform daily makeup removal and cleansing. When cleansing, first pour a cleansing milk or water into the palm of your hand, without mixing with water, and apply it on your face. Gently apply it to the entire face. Then wash once with a facial cleanser. This will remove grease and dirt, and even the deepest pores will be clean and refreshed, achieving a thorough cleansing effect. You can apply a deep cleansing and firming facial mask once or twice a week. It can absorb excess oil and tighten pores. However, you must pay attention to the frequency and method of using the mask.

(2) Emergency ice compress: Dip a cotton pad in iced lotion and apply it on the face or areas with large pores. This can have a better astringent effect.
