How to increase your chances of pregnancy

Pregnancy is the inevitable result of the combination of sperm and egg. Why is it that some people have a higher chance of getting pregnant while others have a lower chance? In fact, it is not only about congenital factors, but also acquired factors. Some people may have cold body and weak constitution and find it difficult to get pregnant, but they can increase the chance of pregnancy by conditioning their body. Generally speaking, having sex during ovulation will greatly increase the chances of pregnancy.

Accurately understanding whether you are in your ovulation period and reducing stress can increase the chances of pregnancy.

Ways to improve your chances of getting pregnant

1. Ensure you are in good physical condition.

If you have just experienced a miscarriage or premature birth, you should wait one year before getting pregnant again. If you were originally using an IUD for contraception, you should remove it three months before pregnancy to allow the uterine mucosa to recover.

2. Pay attention to pre-pregnancy check-ups.

Before pregnancy, some routine basic examinations should be done as needed, such as routine blood and urine tests, liver and kidney function, blood sugar, TORCH, folic acid and other tests, to avoid pregnancy during the acute or infectious period of the disease and adjust the body's nutritional status.

3. Determine the ovulation period in advance.

Measure the basal body temperature every day in advance, and use B-ultrasound to determine the ovulation date when necessary, so as to arrange the couple's sexual life and ensure effective conception during the ovulation period.

4. Maintain an optimistic and stable emotional state.

Don’t think of childbirth as something scary. During pregnancy, pregnant women should try to relax themselves and adjust and divert negative emotions in a timely manner.

5. Adjust your eating structure and habits.

The diet before pregnancy should include grains, fruits and vegetables, soy milk, fish, eggs and meat, and some nuts, fungi and algae should be consumed in moderation every week. It is recommended to start folic acid supplementation three months before pregnancy and consume more foods rich in folic acid, such as lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, etc.

Things to note when preparing for pregnancy

1. Be careful about your diet, adjust your daily routine, and develop good living habits. In the first three months of pregnancy, you should pay attention to a diversified diet, improve nutrition, and conserve your energy; try not to stay up late, go to bed early and get up early; do moderate physical exercise, such as jogging in the morning, taking a walk in the evening, swimming, etc.

2. Pay attention to improving the quality of sex life. Before ovulation, the frequency of sexual intercourse should be reduced in a planned manner to ensure the quantity and quality of sperm. Then, try to put both parties in a good mood during sexual intercourse before ovulation so that the woman can reach orgasm more smoothly, which will promote the combination of sperm and egg.

3. Avoid harm from adverse interference factors. Women should not take general medicines, drink large amounts of alcohol, or be exposed to X-ray examinations or toxic chemicals within 20 days before pregnancy. Men and women should leave heavily polluted environments such as those with toxic chemicals in advance.

4. Pay attention to pre-pregnancy check-ups. It is generally recommended to start prenatal check-ups 3-6 months before pregnancy, including both husband and wife. The female's pre-pregnancy test should be conducted within 3-7 days after the end of menstruation. Be careful to avoid having sex before the test.
