What causes pain in shoulder joint?

In daily life, when you move your shoulder joint, you will find that there is a sound and pain. There are many reasons for this symptom. For example, due to the influence of wind and cold, arthritis may cause this symptom. In addition, calcium deficiency may also cause such symptoms. Therefore, you should go to the hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment in time.

What causes pain in shoulder joint?

Medical research shows that "joints" are the connections between bones. We can move freely because of their existence, so joints are very important to us. But have you ever noticed in life that our body joints occasionally make a "creaking" sound when we move? Especially our shoulder joints. Let’s take a look at the causes of shoulder joint clicking.

Some people believe that shoulder joint cracking may be due to bone malnutrition and that calcium supplementation is necessary. In fact, there are many reasons that cause joint cracking, and calcium deficiency is just one of them. Experts say that joint clicking without pain is physiological clicking. The joints will also make sounds when they collide or rub against each other. It does not cause much harm to the body. If necessary, you can go to the hospital for a check-up and do some physical therapy. If there is pain around the shoulder joint, it is usually related to trauma and you should go to a regular hospital for examination as soon as possible.

The best way to reduce shoulder joint noise as quickly as possible is to do more arm swinging exercises. When we are free, we can also stretch our shoulder joints more. In addition, you can increase the amount of activity to improve this situation. Nowadays, many people choose medication as long as shoulder joint cracking occurs. Generally, there are Neosporin (cyclosporine soft capsules), ibuprofen, etc., which can be helpful for mild shoulder joint clicking, but you must follow the doctor's advice and instructions for use to avoid adverse conditions. In daily life, you should pay attention to regular diet, avoid greasy and spicy food, and drink plenty of water.

Reduction of shoulder dislocation

Shoulder joint reduction method: Usually the patient is allowed to remain in a supine position, and the first aider stands on one side of the patient. If conditions permit, a cotton pad or other soft object can be placed under the patient's armpit. The first aider places the heel of the same side under the patient's armpit against the chest wall, and holds the affected arm and palm tightly for manual traction, while using the heel to press against the armpit to form a counter-traction force. The pulling action should be continuous and even. After the patient's shoulder muscles relax, the first aider will adduct and internally rotate the affected limb. At this time, the humeral head will slide into the glenoid cavity through the rupture of the joint capsule. A sound can often be heard, indicating that the reduction is successful.

The shoulder joint still needs to be fixed after reduction. If it is a simple shoulder dislocation, just hold the affected limb at 90 degrees and suspend it in front of the chest with a triangular bandage. Generally, three weeks will be enough. If the patient's joint capsule is obviously damaged or the muscles around the shoulder are torn, the palm of the affected limb should be placed on the opposite shoulder, with the elbow close to the chest wall and fixed to the chest wall with a bandage.

While the affected limb is immobilized, the wrist and fingers of the affected side must be moved. After the fixation is released, patients are encouraged to actively exercise the various functions of the shoulder joint. The range of motion of the shoulder joint can often be increased by bending over, hanging arms, rotating, and raising arms. But the activities should be gradual. If combined with physical therapy, shoulder joint function will recover faster.
