Both Xuetuantong and Xuesetong are relatively common drugs, and they are quite effective in treating thrombotic diseases. These are two different drugs, and there should be some differences in the treatment process. The drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor. Their pharmacology is basically the same. Xuetuantong is mainly used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and Naosaitong is mainly used for the treatment of cerebral vascular embolism. Although the efficacy is the same, the treatment sites are different.

The difference between Xueshuantong and Xuesetong

Xuesetong soft capsules are very popular among the public and have been widely used in the treatment of diseases in this field with a huge impact. So, what is the difference between the compound Xueshuantong capsule and Xuesaitong soft capsule?

The pharmacological effects of Xuesaitong soft capsules and Xueshuantong capsules are the same. Xueshuantong Capsules are suitable for the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems, while Lixuwang (Xueshuantong soft capsules) are drugs mainly used for vascular embolism in the brain. These two drugs have the same efficacy but act on different parts of the body.

Xuesetong soft capsules can lower blood pressure in dogs, improve heart and brain blood circulation in dogs; correct the pathological conditions of rabbits with acute cerebral ischemia and acute myocardial ischemia; shorten the bleeding and clotting time of mice; improve the blood rheology indexes of rats with blood stasis; increase the red blood cells and hemoglobin in the blood of rats with hemorrhagic disease; promote the production of mouse hemolysin antibodies, enhance the phagocytic function of the mouse reticuloendothelial system, and prolong the mouse's tolerance to hypoxia and swimming time.

Precautions for use

Xuesetong soft capsules cannot be taken for a long time as they are prone to drug resistance. Drug resistance generally refers to the decrease or even disappearance of the sensitivity of the pathogen to the drug after multiple contacts with the drug, resulting in reduced or ineffective efficacy of the drug against the pathogen. Microorganisms, parasites and cancer cells can all develop resistance to drugs.

Xuesaitong Capsule: promotes blood circulation, removes blood stasis, dredges and activates collaterals, inhibits platelet aggregation and increases cerebral blood flow. It is used for cerebral blood stasis, hemiplegia caused by stroke, blood stasis in the heart vessels, chest pain and heart pain; sequelae of cerebrovascular disease, and angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease.
