What to do with sublingual varicose veins

Sublingual varicose veins are relatively common in life. This condition is generally not serious and usually does not cause harm to people. The most important thing is to explain this condition to the patient and relieve the patient's worries. This condition does not require special treatment. Of course, some signs of disease can be discovered through sublingual varicose veins. For example, the patient may have liver dysfunction, vitamin deficiency, etc.

Sublingual varicose veins

1. Liver dysfunction: Since the liver is responsible for the regulation of qi and emotions, it has the function of regulating qi and regulating emotions. Therefore, when the liver is dysfunctional, it will affect people's emotions and the regulation of qi in the body, causing qi stagnation and blood stasis, and resulting in varicose tongue and pulse.

2. Pulmonary dysfunction: Since the lungs control qi, regulate breathing, and promote blood circulation, when lung function is disordered, it will affect blood circulation, causing varicose veins and tongue, accompanied by symptoms such as chest tightness and shortness of breath. 3. Lack of vitamin C Vitamin C deficiency may affect the recovery of capillaries on the ventral surface of the tongue after dilation due to increased venous pressure. If it continues for a long time, it may lead to varicose veins.

4. Tumors can also cause varicose tongue. According to statistics, the incidence of varicose tongue in cancer patients can reach 49.7%. Varicose veins are accompanied by changes in the color of the veins. Different colors represent different stages of the disease. The darker the color, the more serious the condition. Taking liver disease as an example, the normal sublingual veins are light purple. If they are purple, it means that pathological changes have occurred in the liver cells, but the changes are not obvious at this time and have not yet affected the liver function. As the disease progresses, the color of the veins will turn dark purple. At this time, the patient is mostly infected with the hepatitis B virus. The greater the degree of varicose veins, the longer the virus is carried. If the veins are purple-brown, it means that the condition is already very serious. If it is not treated and nursed in time, it can be fatal within a few months. It is more common in patients with chronic severe hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver ascites and portal hypertension.
