How to treat acetylcholine urticaria

Many people do not know much about acetylcholine urticaria, and do not know how much harm it can bring to people. Acetylcholine urticaria mostly occurs among young people. It is a disease caused by increased body temperature after exercise, emotional tension or drinking alcoholic beverages. The symptoms are that when the body is stimulated, wheals of different patterns will appear, surrounded by redness, and accompanied by itching.

Acetylcholine urticaria is a common skin disease. Its occurrence will make the skin extremely itchy. Many patients can't help scratching, but they don't know that the more they scratch, the more itchy it becomes. How to treat acetylcholine urticaria? What medicine is most effective? The following is a detailed introduction.

The symptoms of mild cholestatic urticaria usually disappear after stopping exercise or calming down, so it is not easy to attract attention. In patients with frequent attacks, exercise and hot water tests are often positive, and local ion penetration or skin test of acetylcholine can cause wheals and systemic reactions. Such patients may be allergic to acetylcholine or lack the cholesterase that breaks down acetylcholine in their bodies, so when they exercise or are under mental stress or other circumstances, a rash appears after the parasympathetic nervous system's choleretic nerve impulses release acetylcholine. People who have frequent attacks or each attack is severe should go to a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment in time.

Mild cases do not require treatment and may require only external application of calamine lotion or other soothing and antipruritic topical medications. Those with frequent or severe attacks can be treated with antihistamines and anti-acetylcholine drugs. When one antihistamine is ineffective, 2 to 3 can be given at the same time. For patients with intractable urticaria who do not respond well to H1 receptor antagonists alone, H2 receptor antagonists such as cimetidine or ranitidine can be used in combination.

To treat acetylcholine urticaria, use antihistamines and anti-acetylcholine drugs. In life, stay away from allergens to make the human system function better. At the same time, pay attention to a reasonable diet, normal work and rest time, avoid staying up late, emotional excitement and other factors. As long as you follow a normal lifestyle, I believe acetylcholine urticaria will soon heal without treatment.
