The pros and cons of back bleeding

The pros and cons of back bleeding

Bleeding from the back is a relatively traditional treatment method. It has a certain regulating effect on the blood system. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is also called pricking therapy. It can promote the body's metabolism and promote the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow. When using this method for treatment, you must go to a regular hospital, because if used improperly, it may cause infection. If the incision is large, it will cause bleeding.

Benefits of back bleeding

It has a good bidirectional regulating effect on the blood system. Studies have shown that acupuncture therapy can promote human metabolism, stimulate bone marrow hematopoietic function, accelerate metabolism, improve microcirculation and vascular function, help eliminate harmful substances in the blood, and replenish the body's beneficial substances into the blood circulation in time, prompting the body to re-establish internal environment homeostasis and restore normal physiological functions. By improving microcirculation, it can also prevent excessive inflammatory response and promote recovery from inflammation.

Although bloodletting therapy can have an immediate effect in treatment, it is not suitable for everyone and every disease. First, bloodletting is usually used to deal with six symptoms: purging fire, detoxifying, reducing fever, relieving pain, reducing swelling, and first aid. Bloodletting is not suitable for diseases other than these six symptoms. The convulsions caused by high fever in the above case are also among the contraindications of bloodletting. Second, bloodletting is also prohibited for people with weak constitution, anemia, pregnant women, postpartum women, people with poor coagulation mechanism, people who are afraid of needles and blood, and patients with major diseases. Third, bloodletting is not suitable for patients with infectious diseases. Bloodletting is unsafe for the operator and cross infection should be avoided. Fourth, there are some special conditions, such as being extremely hungry, nervous, tired, sweating, and having diarrhea, in which bloodletting treatment is not suitable.

There are also some precautions during the operation of bloodletting therapy. First, the bloodletting needles must be strictly sterilized to prevent infection;

Second, during acupuncture bloodletting, care should be taken not to insert the needle too deep and the wound should not be too large to avoid damaging other tissues. When cutting a blood vessel, just cut it, but never cut it.

Third, if small bruises appear locally after the operation, they generally do not need to be treated and will disappear on their own. If the swelling and pain are severe, you can apply cold compress within 24 hours, and hot compress after 24 hours, or gently massage the area to promote the dissipation of the hematoma;

Fourth, it is forbidden to bleed at the same site repeatedly, as this may easily cause small local nodules. Fifth, if the patient faints from the needle or blood during the operation, the patient should be helped to lie down immediately, given hot water to drink, and the complexion, pulse, blood pressure, etc. should be carefully observed.
