It is best to cultivate a calm and happy mood before going to bed. You cannot have feelings of extreme joy or extreme sorrow. It is not easy to fall asleep if you are too excited or too sad. Don’t think too much about what happened during the day. Keep the happy ones as memories and savor them slowly. Throw the unhappy ones into the trash can. Empty your mind.

If you really can't sleep, get up and read a book. Read your favorite book and forget about time. Or you could read a book that you hate the most and find it so bad that you might fall asleep while reading. Or find some words to memorize or something to exercise your brain. Let your brain work for a while, and you might feel sleepier.

Get up and do some cleaning. This will not only make good use of your time, but also make the room look more comfortable. It's really satisfying to see everything clean and tidy, and I can sleep more soundly.

Let’s go to the balcony to enjoy the night view. But don't eat too much, snacks or anything like that. Take a bath and put some flower petals that promote sleep and make you feel calm in the bath water. Put some nice-smelling herbs that promote sleep next to your pillow and bed.

Write some diary or something on Weibo or Space. It is best to write more, describe everything that happened today, no matter whether it was a big thing or a trivial thing, and summarize what changes you have experienced during this period and how you feel. Write down what should be corrected, what should be retained, and what new plans are next. It's also good for yourself to look at it, which will help you relax.

Prepare in advance for the next day. It is like preparing clothes to wear to work or school the next day, things to take with you when you go out, and it would even be better if you could prepare breakfast for tomorrow. Be well prepared for the start of tomorrow. You won't wake up in a panic the next morning.

Eat an apple, kiwi, banana or grape (said to have a hypnotic effect). But don't eat too much. It is best not to drink tea as it will make people excited. Drink some honey water or milk. If you really want to drink tea, drink green tea. In fact, it is best to drink boiled water. Lie down comfortably, listen to soothing music, look at beautiful pictures, etc.

Use this time to complete some plans. It's a small plan that I've wanted to implement for a long time, but I've never had the time or opportunity, so it's been put off until now and hasn't been completed. Then take action now. For example, you want to find a gift for a friend or family member online, or you want a green shirt for yourself. Take some time to look for it now.

Do moderate exercise. If conditions permit, it is safe, and it does not affect the sleep of neighbors, you can do some moderate exercise, such as yoga, walking around the living room, or jogging. In fact, moderate exercise and consumption of physical energy can improve sleep quality. When your eyelids are fighting, it means you are very sleepy. Go to bed quickly. I fell asleep quickly. Don't leave it too late, go and have a good sleep. The next day was another day full of sunshine and hope.
