Drug treatment ① H2 receptor antagonists: Commonly used drugs include cimetidine, ranitidine and famotidine.

Cimetidine is the weakest, famotidine is the strongest, and ranitidine is in between. These drugs should be appropriately reduced or used with caution in patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction. In general, the daily dose can be taken once at night, with a dosage of 800 mg of cimetidine, 300 mg of ranitidine, and 40 mg of famotidine.

② Proton pump blockers: The commonly used drug is omeprazole, and the usual dose is 20~40mg/d. The advantage of this drug over H?2 receptor antagonists is that it can inhibit the growth of Helicobacter pylori.

③Antacids: It is an anti-ulcer drug with a long history. The colloidal aluminum-magnesium mixture (aluminum hydroxide and magnesium milk mixture) is still in use. It can neutralize gastric acid for 3 to 4 hours when taken between meals. It is usually given in small doses, 15 to 30 ml, 3 times/d.
