my country has a history of thousands of years of tea cultivation, and the history of tea drinking is also particularly long. Therefore, each region in China has its own varieties of tea. According to the classification of tea, it can be divided into six major varieties. The more common ones are green tea, black tea, oolong tea and other six varieties. Different teas have different health effects, but they all have certain health-care effects on the body. What are the six major categories of tea in my country? ①. Green tea Green tea is made by withering the fresh leaves picked at high temperature to kill various oxidases and keep the green color of the tea leaves. Then they are rolled and dried. Clear green leaves are the common characteristics of green tea quality. ②. Black tea is a fermented tea. The basic process is withering, rolling, fermentation and drying. There are many types of black tea in my country, and the production areas are wide. There are my country's unique Gongfu black tea and Lapsang Souchong black tea, as well as broken black tea similar to that of India and Sri Lanka. ③. Oolong tea Oolong tea, also known as green tea, is a semi-fermented tea. The basic process is sun drying, air drying, sowing, killing, rolling and drying. The quality characteristics of oolong tea are that it has the fragrance and floral aroma of green tea and the mellow taste of black tea. Oolong tea has its own unique flavor due to the specificity of the tea tree variety, and the quality varies significantly due to different origins. ④. Types of white tea: White tea is a slightly fermented tea, and the basic process is airing and drying. The quality characteristics of white tea are that the surface of the dry tea is covered with white fuzz, the color is white with a hint of green, the soup color is light, and the taste is sweet. White tea is a specialty of our country. ⑤. Yellow tea types : Yellow tea is a lightly fermented tea. Its basic process is similar to that of green tea, but it is fermented to turn yellow during the tea-making process. Therefore, it has the characteristics of yellow soup and yellow leaves. Yellow tea has a long history of production, and many famous teas belong to this category. ⑥. Types of Dark Tea Dark tea is a post-fermented tea, a unique type of tea in China with a long production history and rich varieties of colors and patterns. As early as around the 11th century, during the Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1074 AD), there were records of using green tea to turn it black. Black tea is the raw material for many compressed teas. The compressed teas made from black tea include Fu brick tea, black brick tea, flower brick tea, Xiangjian tea, green brick tea, Kang brick tea, Jinjian tea, square bag tea, Liubao tea, round tea, compressed tea... and so on. The main production areas are Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi and other provinces. The annual output of dark tea is very large, second only to black tea and green tea, making it the third largest type of tea in my country. Dark tea is mainly sold on the borders, some of it is sold domestically and a small amount is exported. Therefore, it is customary to call the compressed tea made from dark tea border-selling tea. |
